Team Building at Canyon Cove, a Beach Resort in Batangas, is designed and managed by Playworks, the premier team building company in the Philippines. Unlike other resorts, which use staff marshals to run games or contract out unqualified facilitators with no real background, Canyon Coves' Resident Team Building Facilitators are comprised of seasoned professionals with accomplished academic backgrounds and industry experience. As such, our Facilitation Team is able to appropriately evaluate, facilitate, and process your team building according to the needs of your team.

Geoffrey Nuval, founder of Playworks & Lead Facilitator, has spoken and presented at numerous conferences in the Philippines and the U.S. on the topics of entrepreneurship in the workplace, marketing in a socially networked world, and the influence of game mechanics and rewards programs on user behavior.
He returned to the Philippines after spending over a decade in the
United States. While abroad, he attained a BS in Management Science & Engineering with Honors from Stanford University and initiated a course in Entrepreneurship at the Oxford University's Said Business School in the United Kingdom.
After graduation, he spent some time in Silicon Valley investing in Internet startups for the former Lehman Brothers (now Tenaya Capital) and then went on to found and become CEO of Devhub.com in Seattle and Privacy Central in Los Angeles.
It was during this time Mr. Nuval became an early pioneer and expert on gamification, the application of real game mechanics – such as points, levels, ranking, and rewards – to improve or influence people’s behavior.
Nikki Aguila, Sales Director and Facilitator, is a loyal, team-spirited individual who is able to gain confidence of people. Adept at bringing people to strive for a common purpose, she has organized numerous successful team building and group seminar 
events for some of the largest companies in the Philippines. She also conducts seminars on corporate sales.
Nikki has prior corporate experience in sales and product marketing for Fujitsu, selling multi-million dollar projects to the country’s leading telecoms such as PLDT and Smart Communications.
She holds a BS in Electronics & Communications Engineering from De La Salle University.
Titus Abola, Marketing & Communications Manager and Facilitator, is an experienced corporate communications professional, trainer, and event organizer. He is passionate about teaching, sharing knowledge, and helping others become better at their jobs. He loves games, both electronic and tabletop, and is a strong advocate of games as instructional tools.
Before joining Playworks, Titus was Communications Director at executive search firm ZMG Ward Howell, and headed the editorial team of the Marketing & Communications Group of SGV & Co. (Ernst & Young Philippines).
Mr. Abola has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the Humanities from the Ateneo de Manila University.
Raymond Villanueva, Facilitator, has extensive experience in managing large-scale event organization for Local and International companies up to 6,000 attendees, including HP, Lenovo, Toyota China and Japan, Tupperware, Roche, and Herbalife.
Mr. Raymond has over 10 years of working in the hospitality industry inManila and Abroad. His experience in large-scale operations includes opening The Venetian Macao and Sheraton Hotel Cotai Central, overseeing 500+ people in his team.
Mr. Raymond holds a degree in AB Social Science from Ateneo de Manila University.
Gilbert Lavides, Facilitator, is a crowd energy booster able to conduct highly stimulating team buildings no matter the crowd size.
Mr. Gilbert has nearly a decade of industry experience planning,
managing, and conducting major companywide events for large multinational companies, including Cypress Manufacturing and Intel.
Mr. Gilbert holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology.
Liz Baylon, Facilitator, is a media and communications industry veteran with sharp organization skills and a strong ability to train groups from a variety of backgrounds.
Her international experience, working with Japanese (IPS) and American (Yorkshire, Dell Computers) companies, combined with her communications work with the likes of GMA7 and the Daily Tribune, gives her a unique perspective which she brings when facilitating local teams here in the Philippines.
Ms. Liz holds a BA in Communications from Miriam College and an MBA from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
Rozen Salvador, Facilitator, is a fast-thinker who can rapidly adapt to challenging group situations and new environments.
Mr. Rozen has over a decade of industry experience conducting multi-level trainings for large multinational companies, including Shell and Epson.
Mr. Rozen holds a BS in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology
DJ Pat, Facilitator, our mass communication and broadcasting expert,is a quick-witted person able to invigorate a crowd. His fun and interactive team building program focuses on realizing a large team's full potential.
DJ Pat is a real DJ for Magic89.9, one of Philippines’s most popular radio stations in MetroManila, for his segments on Friday Madness and Saturday
Slam. His past experience includes being a teacher in St. Paul’s department of Broadcasting.
DJ Pat holds a dual degree from De La Salle University: BS in Business Management major in Entrepreneurship and a AB in Economics.
Bong Sace, Facilitator, is able to direct and guide large team building crowds, making sure they enjoy their experience while still making sure a company’s objectives are met.
Mr. Bong is currently an Assistant to the Director for Human Resources at De La Salle Santiago Zobel School
. He has over 10 years of Facilitation experience with Megaworld, MyPhone and the Philippine National Police as part of his client list.
Mr. Bong holds a BS in Clinical Psychology from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and is currently pursuing his MA in Developmental Psychology from the Ateneo De Manila University.
JJ Villanueva, Facilitator and Certified Public Accountant, is a specialist in
inspirational team buildings, able to resolve organizational conflicts and revitalize a team’s confidence.
Mr. JJ has prior experience organizing motivational seminars as faculty in De La Salle University Dasmariñas.
Mr. JJ holds a BS in Accountancy in De La Salle University.
Belle Vergara, Facilitator, brings her energy to every team building and it definitely is contagious to the crowd.
Ms. Belle’s operational background at Shell Shared Services and Accenture gives her a keen understanding of the customer service
industry as well as the BPO and call center working environment.
Ms. Belle holds a BSC in Financial Management Accounting from the Technological Institute of the Philippines.
Jing Jamlang, Facilitator, sportscaster on TV5 and all-around sports enthusiast, is able to spread optimism and team harmony in his team buildings.
Mr. Jing’s experience includes leading team buildings for large groups such as Alveo Land and Manufacturing giant such as Western Digital. His other expertise includes covering football and Mixed Martial Arts matches for sports website InterAKTV and has had exposure in print media such as the Asian Traveler and Metro Society.
Mr. Jing holds a BS in Marketing Management from De La Salle University.
Pat Ballecer, Facilitator, is a specialist in inspirational team buildings, able to resolve organizational conflicts and revitalize a team’s confidence.
Mr. Pat has prior international experience organizing motivational team buildings in the Ministry
for Couples for Christ in Papua New Guinea while he was engaged in the Marketing industry.
Mr. Pat holds a BS in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from the University of the East.
